Although the Marvel Cinematic Universe has mostly depended on their feature film slate to move the franchise forward, Marvel’s certainly hit their stride when it comes to television. In particular, their Disney Plus shows have done a fantastic job of expanding the franchise and putting more time into characters that normally wouldn’t have it otherwise. Now this will soon include She-Hulk, a character that will be getting their very own Disney Plus series. And while we still don’t know much about the She-Hulk series, a new look at the mo-cap suit used to create the character has been released online.
She-Hulk, otherwise known as Jennifer Walters, is being portrayed by actress Tatiana Maslany. Because she’s in her She-Hulk form for most of the series, there’s a lot of mo-cap work to be done. And, as shown in the photo below, her mo-cap suit includes a giant green head at the top way above her own head.
Her co-star Ginger Gonzaga, who shared the image on her Instagram Story, also added the following caption:
“And shout out to #jenhulk (as we nicknamed her) this is what Tatiana Maslany has to hold on top of her head when she’s Shulkie.”

It’s interesting to see the mo-cap suit that’s being used for She-Hulk, although it is similar to other mo-cap suits used by past Marvel actors. It just goes to show how prepared Marvel is when it comes to their wide array of characters that can only really be brought to life via computer animation. It also shows just how much technology has evolved considering how much footage must be edited for the character to be properly inserted and animated. In any case, we should expect to see more from She-Hulk in the near future.
She-Hulk doesn’t have a release date yet, but it’s expected to hit the Disney Plus streaming service at some point in 2022.
