Although there are no shortage of superhero adaptations, especially in today’s filmmaking climate, there are still occasions where characters aren’t depicted the same as their comic book counterparts. Sometimes it was because of technical limitations in the past, other times for stylistic reasons. As such, certain characters like Juggernaut were never depicted in the X-Men films the same way as they were in the comics. Now one fan made the effort to show their Juggernaut cosplay and just how comic-accurate it is.
As you can see below, the Juggernaut cosplay was created by @hummin_h2 on Instagram and shared on his account. It’s definitely an incredible look at the character, as his body proportions are depicted very truthfully to the comic book illustrations. This is something that isn’t really done for film, at least not without plenty of alterations and CGI. So seeing a fan create the Juggernaut costume practically is impressive to say the least.

It appears that @hummin_h2 has made a wide variety of stellar cosplays in the past, many of which have adapted tricky comic book outfits for the real world. It’s definitely a tough hobby to make costumes to begin with, much less the challenging ones like Juggernaut that are difficult to pull off even by Hollywood studios. Nevertheless, he’s persevered and it’s obviously paid off. Now fans can enjoy getting to see his great Juggernaut cosplay in action.
As for those unfamiliar with the Marvel character, Juggernaut was previously portrayed in live action by Vinnie Jones for X-Men: The Last Stand. The character was portrayed much more accurately to the comics in Deadpool 2, where Ryan Reynolds voiced the character and David Leitch provided the physical performance. Hopefully we’ll continue to see more comic book accurate depictions of Juggernaut as the X-Men franchise is absorbed into and continued under the Marvel brand proper.
