There isn’t any shortage of bizarre and disturbing movies in the world. The biggest issue is finding which ones are worth watching. After all, with so many to choose from, it can be a little tricky. There are a wide variety of decades and countries to account for when it comes to cinema – so sometimes a list really does come in handy. Now to help with that matter, it appears that the online social platform Reddit has compiled a list of the most disturbing movies of all time. According to their users, that is.
As revealed via Reddit, they had a decent amount of movies listed on the site. But to keep things short and neat, here are the top 20 most disturbing movies that Reddit users chose to vote on:

This is definitely quite the list. While a lot of these titles are horror films, they don’t all belong to the genre. In fact, there are quite a few drama and thriller movies added to the list because of their psychological themes. Others, of course, tend to be on the more gory or disgusting side of things. It goes to show how different things can impact different people. But with 20 films listed, there’s definitely bound to be something worth watching for everyone no matter their interests.
With that said, there are still plenty of disturbing movies that didn’t make the cut. Surely there are more films out there, movies like Anthropophagus, Ebola Syndrome or Mysterious Skin – to name a few, that equally deserve a bit of attention. But what’s disturbing does vary from person to person, as already mentioned. So with that said, it’s great to see so many titles spelled out where fans can compare and discuss which film is more disturbing. As such, let us know your thoughts in the comments section down below!
