The Marvel Cinematic Universe has so far done a great job at introducing characters from the Spider-Man comics. With their latest take on the character, Spider-Man: No Way Home, set to debut this month – it’s exciting to see how far these characters have come. For example, Peter Parker is in a completely different place from when we first saw him. In fact, the whole world now knows his secret – which sets the events for Spider-Man: No Way Home into motion. But he’s not the only one to have changed over the course of the movies. As it turns out, his high school bully Flash Thompson has gone through quite an evolution as well. This is very evident in a newly released promo for the upcoming film.
Tony Revolori has so far played Flash Thompson in all of his MCU appearances. While he previously maintained a lot of the same features – for example, an all black hair color – that appears to have changed for the new film. As seen in the below TikTok video from Sony’s official Daily Bugle TikTok account, Flash Thompson is now sporting a brand new look with a hair color that’s split between black and blonde.
It’s definitely an unexpected look and one that shows how much the character has changed between films:

While we don’t know how exactly the character will be used in the upcoming film, this is a surprising change for Flash Thompson. With the world now aware that Peter Parker is Spider-Man, it’ll be interesting to see how Flash Thompson changes perspective – something we get a glimpse at in the above TikTok video.
The upcoming MCU film was directed by Jon Watts from a script by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers.
Tom Holland, Zendaya, Marisa Tomei, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jamie Foxx, Alfred Molina, Jacob Batalon, Tony Revolori, and Hannibal Buress are all attached to appear.
Spider-Man: No Way Home is currently scheduled to hit theaters on December 17, 2021.
