    Female Pennywise Cosplay Will Lure You Into The Sewers

    One of Stephen King’s most iconic stories is IT, the tale of a supernatural entity that often chooses the form of a smiling clown. It’s a creepy concept, and much more disturbing when you realize this creature feeds upon children. Although IT is capable of taking the form of anything, usually the fears of the children it wants to devour, it’s Pennywise the Clown that it’s become most well known as. As a result, Pennywise has become a true horror icon, having terrified audiences with both the original book as well as a TV miniseries and two feature films. And, such is the case with most horror icons, fans often try to emulate them and create their own costumes.

    One such fan is female cosplayer JinxieCosplay, who created a rather alluring female Pennywise cosplay.

    As you can see below, via her Instagram, she took inspiration from the 2017 feature film adaptation IT: Chapter One and its sequel, IT: Chapter 2. This is mostly evident in the makeup and color palette of the costuming. However, to spice things up, she chose to wear a skirt and some rather lavish boots. Little red pompoms can be found on her footwear, on her costume such as the film version of Pennywise, and even in her fiery red hair.

    With this female Pennywise cosplay, JinxieCosplay has done a great job at reimagining the character. If there was a female take on Pennywise, it wouldn’t be surprising to see something like this. Of course, she does tend to make the character look a little more glamorous than the entity we know from the films.

    Either way, a great design is a great design. And it shows, all the way from the attention to detail on her boots to the bright red balloon in her hand. This is one female Pennywise cosplay that would surely lure fans into the sewers.
