The release of Spider-Man: No Way Home is less than a week away – and as with every big Marvel movie, that means that spoilers will start to make their way online if you’re not careful. This movie is more important than usual, though, as it’s the biggest Marvel Cinematic Universe movie since Avengers: Endgame – and hype is at an all time high.
When promoting the movie, the film’s star, Tom Holland stopped by Late Night with Seth Meyers and revealed No Way Home’s opening scene!

When discussing the film recently, and this scene specifically, Holland said:
“What’s cool about this film is it picks up right after the second one finishes. So the second one finishes with a freeze-frame of Spider-Man, the third one starts with the same freeze-frame.”
So while some of the marketing footage that we’ve seen for the movie may turn out to be fake, it appears that this opening scene is legitimate, as Holland was already talking about it and now we have it. It is definitely enough to keep fans wanting more, and luckily for them, they’ll get it very soon and have all of their big questions they have about the sequel answered – as there are more than a few that are being discussed in almost every single part of the internet right now.
The upcoming Marvel film was directed by Jon Watts from a script written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers.
Tom Holland, Zendaya, Marisa Tomei, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jamie Foxx, Alfred Molina, Jacob Batalon, Tony Revolori, and Hannibal Buress are all attached to appear.
Spider-Man: No Way Home is currently scheduled to be released in theaters everywhere on December 17, 2021.
