Fans have been going crazy for the upcoming film Spider-Man: No Way Home. The new Marvel Cinematic Universe movie is set to combine characters from several different Spider-Man franchises, which certainly explains the hype. Unfortunately, it’s been tough for theaters to keep up with the demand. In fact, when ticket sales initially opened up, theater websites were actually crashing. Some fans even broke out into fist fights over the tickets. Now it looks like Spider-Man: No Way Home tickets are also fetching insane prices on eBay.
It’s become quite common in recent years for online scalping to raise prices to shocking degrees. But in the case of Spider-Man: No Way Home, it seems to make the battle for some decent tickets that much more intense. For example, upon searching for tickets on eBay, you’ll see some going for as much as a couple hundred dollars to over twenty-thousand dollars. As of this writing, at least, it looks like ticket prices are just one example of how crazy fans are willing to get just to see Spider-Man on the big screen.

Obviously, Spider-Man: No Way Home is going to be a massive film for Marvel. It’s arguably just as big as some of their past hits like Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. With the film bringing together so many iconic characters, it certainly is an apt comparison. And when you take into consideration the rumors that actors like Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield could also show up, it makes sense why fans are ecstatic to see the film as soon as they can. There’s definitely a lot to look forward to.
The upcoming MCU film was directed by Jon Watts from a script by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers.
Tom Holland, Zendaya, Marisa Tomei, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jamie Foxx, Alfred Molina, Jacob Batalon, Tony Revolori, and Hannibal Buress are all attached to appear.
Spider-Man: No Way Home is currently scheduled to hit theaters on December 17, 2021.
