With so many characters involved in the epic narrative for Spider-Man: No Way Home, fans have been trying to figure out how long the film could be. And with the release date less than a month away, there’s even more suspense in trying to find out the film’s runtime. Now, according to a new report, we may finally know how long the runtime for the film will be.
According to @bigscreenleaks on Twitter, it looks like we could see the film reach a massive 2 hours and 28 minutes. If this is accurate, then it would actually make the film the third-longest Marvel Cinematic Universe film to date. But considering the near Avengers-level of characters involved, it isn’t surprising that they’d want to invest as much time as possible into the movie.
As stated:
Just got word that #SpiderManNoWayHome's final runtime will be 02:28:01. pic.twitter.com/y22wA1V3Z2

They also mentioned in the replies that this does include the credits for the film. Of course, because this runtime for Spider-Man: No Way Home is yet to be confirmed, it should be taken with a grain of salt. However, considering so many characters from past Spider-Man franchises are coming back, there’s no doubt that this film will want to spend plenty of time with them and explaining their roles. As such, it does seem likely that this upcoming movie could end up being one of the longer Spider-Man flicks.
With the release date in December almost upon us, we’ll probably get confirmation on what the film’s runtime will be sooner rather than later. As such, fans can stay tuned to ScreenGeek for updates as we have them.
The upcoming MCU film was directed by Jon Watts from a script by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers.
Tom Holland, Zendaya, Marisa Tomei, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jamie Foxx, Alfred Molina, Jacob Batalon, Tony Revolori, and Hannibal Buress are all attached to appear.
Spider-Man: No Way Home is currently scheduled to hit theaters on December 17, 2021.
