There’s less than a month left to wait for Spider-Man: No Way Home, and all of the signs are finally showing. Aside from Sony increasing their marketing campaign to full speed, and tickets about to go on sale for the film, it now appears an early critic screening for the Marvel Cinematic Universe movie is also on the way.
This was revealed on Twitter via Sean O’Connell, author of the upcoming Spider-Man book titled With Great Power. In fact, he even suggested fans should prepare to defend themselves against any potential spoilers as a result.
As he wrote:
“OK, #SpiderMan friends. It’s time. #SpiderManNoWayHome officially starts screening one week from today. Start muting those keywords. Or get off Twitter altogether. You have been warned!”

According to the time frame given on Sean O’Connell’s tweet, it looks like we can expect the first early critic screening for Spider-Man: No Way Home to begin on Friday, December 3. This is about two weeks away from when the film is expected to be released in mainstream theaters, so that means there’ll be quite a bit of time for fans to have to avoid spoilers.
It was previously expected that the first critic screening would be held on December 13, which would have made the battle against spoilers a little less long. Nevertheless, it proves that the long wait for Spider-Man: No Way Home is nearly over. Fans will soon be able to see the Multiverse crossover with all of its surprises and reveals next month.
The upcoming MCU film was directed by Jon Watts from a script by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers.
Tom Holland, Zendaya, Marisa Tomei, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jamie Foxx, Alfred Molina, Jacob Batalon, Tony Revolori, and Hannibal Buress are all attached to appear.
Spider-Man: No Way Home is currently scheduled to hit theaters on December 17, 2021.
