Marvel Studios has revealed the first trailer for the upcoming Moon Knight series – which stars Oscar Isaac in the title role. The series was announced by Kevin Feige back in 2019 and aside from Oscar Isaac being cast in the lead role, there hasn’t been much casting information to come out. We did get a potential leak of what the full costume looks like earlier this year – but that hasn’t been confirmed as real.
The trailer that was released today is definitely short – but gives fans their first look at Moon Knight being brought to action in a live-action medium. It definitely appears to be a lot darker than the other Disney Plus series that we’ve been given so far – which is a welcome sign for fans of the original comics.
The trailer for Moon Knight came as part of a sizzle reel for Marvel Studios for Disney Plus Day – and it definitely hasn’t disappointed.

One casting detail we do know about is Ethan Hawke – who will be playing the show’s villain. It’s not yet been revealed which villain that is – but there has been some speculation that it could be Dracula – or some other ancient vampire. Hawke has said he’s basing the character on notorious cult leader David Koresh, so it’ll definitely be interesting to see. It’ll also be interesting to see just how dark the series will be and what type of boundaries Marvel Studios will push with it.
Whenever there is more news on the show, we’ll be sure to get it to you.Moon Knight is expected to be released on Disney Plus at some point in 2022.
