The Resident Evil film franchise has been all over the map in regards to adapting the beloved video game franchise. But that’s apparently set to change with the upcoming Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City. The new horror film will wipe clean the slate of the previous live-action film franchise. And, in their place, the new film will more faithfully adapt the storylines that fans have become accustomed to from playing the video games all these years. Now, in a new Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City trailer, it’s clear just how far they’re going to adapt the games and their vicious monsters.
The new “Nightmare Trailer,” which was just released courtesy of Sony, provides a much more horrific glimpse at the film than its first teaser did. With so many exciting monsters and references to the video games, it’s hard not to be hyped for this new take on the classic video game franchise.
