It looks like Sony and Marvel aren’t having much luck with keeping things under wraps for Spider-Man: No Way Home. A variety of details from the film have allegedly leaked since it started production, and even the first trailer leaked online ahead of its release. Now it looks like a second Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer has also leaked.
It appears that this new trailer contains unfinished special effects sequences and is an alternate version of the first trailer that was released, so it’s unclear how the finished version will turn out – or if this one will even be used as the next trailer released. But with Sony’s Ghostbusters: Afterlife on the way this month, it seems likely that the new Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer could arrive along with it.

It’s interesting that the alleged leaked trailer has yet to be removed by Sony Pictures. When the first trailer was leaked, it was quickly targeted and taken down by the company. This only verified its legitimacy. This time, however, Sony doesn’t seem to be acting as urgently – so it’s interesting to wonder why that is. In any case, as noted above, many details from Spider-Man: No Way Home have been coming left and right – so it’ll be exciting to see what else could be revealed ahead of the film’s December release date. As such, fans can stay tuned to ScreenGeek for updates as we have them.
The highly anticipated MCU film was directed by Jon Watts from a script by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers.
Tom Holland, Zendaya, Marisa Tomei, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jamie Foxx, Alfred Molina, Jacob Batalon, Tony Revolori, and Hannibal Buress are all attached to appear.
Spider-Man: No Way Home is currently scheduled to hit theaters on December 17, 2021.
