One of the biggest aspects for Halloween Kills is the angry mob of Haddonfield residents that go after Michael Myers. The mob is led by individuals including Tommy Doyle, played by Anthony Michael Hall, who leads the residents with his newfound baseball bat. Similarly, all of the residents pick up their own weapons in the fight against Myers. While they include other common weapons like guns or two-by-fours, one woman in the mob picks a rather unexpected weapon. She wields a yellow iron.
With such a surprising choice to go against Michael Myers, the character has sparked their own miniature fandom online. In fact, an entire Facebook group has launched as a means to promote the character. Titled “The one lady who brought an iron to fight Michael Myers,” it even acquired the attention of the actress herself.
Belisa Lea joined the group and added the following post via iHorror:
“That was me!” she wrote. “I had some amazing Ninja moves with that iron! It was a replica of the one I used growing up. Just so proud to be dubbed The Iron Maiden and part of Tommy’s possé! It’s the Viking in me. I would have definitely been a Shield Maiden and used much more impressive weapon.”
You can see her holding the iron as her weapon on the left of this image from Halloween Kills:
What’s more, the following TikTok video also pointed the woman out. It called her “The Iron Maiden.”
