Actor Nicolas Cage is one of the hardest working actors in Hollywood. It seems he has a new project on the way every month or so. But he’s recently been making headlines for a completely different reason. As it turns out, there was video footage taken of Nicolas Cage being thrown out of a bar in Las Vegas for having been “completely drunk.”
It appears that Nicolas Cage’s drunken behavior actually caused some people to mistake him for a homeless man. In fact, after Nicolas Cage became drunk off expensive whiskey and shots of tequila, the iconic star began shouting until he was removed from the bar. As explained by an anonymous source via The Sun:
“We were at that bar at Lawry’s when we noticed what we at first thought was a homeless man completely drunk and being rowdy. To our shock it turned to be Nicolas Cage. He was completely smashed and was getting into a bit of a fight with the staff. He was in a really bad state and was walking around shoeless. Staff told us he had been downing shots of tequila and 1980 Macallan whiskey. He was shouting at people and trying to get into fights and then staff asked him to leave. He was so drunk he could barely get his flip flops on before being escorted out. He asked us if we wanted to come back to his place but he was in a bad way so we didn’t think it was a good idea. One of the regulars ended up taking him home.”
As you can see from the below footage courtesy of The Sun:
It definitely sounds like an event you would expect from a Nicolas Cage film. Especially considering he played an alcoholic in the film Leaving Las Vegas. It’s worth mentioning that Nicolas Cage has hinted at having problems with alcohol in the past. As of this writing, no one involved with Cage or the bar that he was thrown out of have commented on the situation.
