While we wait for official updates on Spider-Man: No Way Home, some plot details have reportedly leaked from the upcoming film. The details were located by users on an app called “Cinemap”. And, interestingly, the details seem to emphasize Doctor Strange’s involvement with the film and how it will apparently include elements from the Multiverse.
Here are the Spider-Man: No Way Home plot details that reportedly leaked via the Cinemap app:
“Peter Parker is in court as he tries to prove his innocence after Mysterio exposed him. The Multiverse is breaking and villains from other worlds are getting exposed to the real world. Doctor Strange tries to capture them and put them in a special prison he made himself but they try to escape to stop Peter Parker from telling the truth.”

Obviously, these plot details for Spider-Man: No Way Home should be taken with a grain of salt. The official synopsis has yet to be released, but all things considered, this does seem to line up with what we know about the film so far. It will take place after the events of Spider-Man: Far From Home, it will include Doctor Strange, and there will be villains from other Spider-Man continuities involved. In any case, we should have a synopsis soon – especially considering that a trailer will likely be released sooner rather than later. The film is due for a release this December, so with only a few months to go, we should be receiving more official updates soon.
The film was directed by Jon Watts from a script by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers.
Tom Holland, Zendaya, Marisa Tomei, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jamie Foxx, Alfred Molina, Jacob Batalon, Tony Revolori, and Hannibal Buress are all attached to appear.
The upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe blockbuster Spider-Man: No Way Home is scheduled to hit theaters on December 17, 2021.
