It appears that the upcoming MCU film Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings will interconnect with another Marvel Cinematic Universe film, Doctor Strange, in a rather interesting way. As the trailer reveals, it appears that a certain Doctor Strange character will be making a cameo in the upcoming film. Specifically, we’ll be seeing Wong – played by Benedict Wong – who will be returning from his past appearances in which he united with Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange. The trailer also featured appearances from several other Marvel Cinematic Universe characters. This includes The Abomination, that fans will remember from the film The Incredible Hulk, along with another recognizable character from Spider-Man: Homecoming for one very quick moment.
This cameo of Wong from Doctor Strange and the appearances of other characters are some exciting Easter eggs to spot in the Shang-Chi trailer that’s exciting in itself. The Marvel Cinematic Universe has been expanding in a lot of interesting ways this year, and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is certainly continuing that tradition. While we still have a few months before the film arrives, for the time being it looks like it will be a fun fantasy adventure for fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. As such, stay tuned for more updates on the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe film as we have them. It will most definitely be a new entry worth looking out for.
