With production on Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania about to begin, actress Evangeline Lilly is already getting into shape for her role as the titular Wasp. As revealed in several workout videos posted by Evangeline Lilly on Instagram, she is prepared to be in top physical shape for shooting the upcoming MCU film.
As stated in one of her Instagram posts where Evangeline Lilly posted the workout videos:
“After two years of illness, injury and slow and gentle recovery, it is time, once again, for me to turn my sights back to Wasp,” said Lilly. “Quantumania here I come…even if I have to hobble to get there!”
She further noted:
“I am so grateful that he [Eric Goodman] will hopefully help me be able to do justice to this epic heroine one more time.”

The workout videos posted by Evangeline Lilly offer a nice glimpse of the actress getting into shape. She’s clearly eager to be back in the role, and it appears that she wants to put in as much effort as she can. It also appears that her last outing as the character took quite a toll on her physically, so it’s nice to see that she is making sure that she’ll be able to better handle the physical requirements that shooting the third film in the popular franchise will require.
Hopefully we’ll get to see more behind the scenes looks at Evangeline Lilly and the rest of the film’s cast as production on Ant-Man and The Wasp continues to move along. As always, stay tuned to ScreenGeek for more details on the upcoming MCU film as we have them.
The film is going to be directed by Peyton Reed from a screenplay written by Jeff Loveness. The cast for the movie includes Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Douglas, Michelle Pfeiffer, Kathryn Newton, and Jonathan Majors.
Audiences will be able to see Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania on February 17, 2023.
