The Falcon and The Winter Soldier finale episode had a lot going on – and if you haven’t watched it, obviously, there are major spoilers that follow. If you’re still here, you know that we saw the end (for now) of Daniel Bruhl’s Baron Zemo character. The finale revealed that he’s in prison – and likely will be for the foreseeable future. Then again, nothing is ever set in stone in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Still, though, Bruhl had a pretty funny reaction to the events that happened in the finale.
“Well…Back to prison, time to read, improve my chess and dance moves. Thanks @marvel for letting me catch some fresh air out there. So long FriendZ xxxZ @falconandwintersoldier #teamzemo,”

Daniel Bruhl recently gave his opinion on the character – and offered up some advice on whether or not MCU fans should trust Zemo:
“No, never. And that’s the good thing. If it’s hard to read and tell what somebody is up to, that ambiguity — which people always enjoy and I do enjoy — is always fun. So, yeah, you shouldn’t really trust him. But I guess it has become apparent that he is not an evil supervillain; there’s more to him, which we already know from the other movie.”
Probably the most popular aspect of Zemo on this season of the series was Zemo dancing in a nightclub, as it became a popular meme. It turns out, according to Bruhl, that moment was totally improvised:
“What we see in Madripoor, this is Zemo [not me]. It wasn’t on the page, it was improvised. I thought it was so much fun because this guy has been sitting and rotting in a German prison cell. So, it’s time to let off some steam.”
All six episodes of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier are currently streaming on Disney Plus.
