Many horror fans would love to live in their very own gothic paradise. After all, what better place to indulge in horror movies and gothic literature than your very own creepy home? As it turns out, there’s now such a house already set up and ready to go for the horror fan with enough cash to buy it. Dubbed a “vampire” house by the homeowner and seller, it’s a very interesting location. One that you can find in Baltimore, Maryland.
As you can see for yourself, the house has been decorated in a mostly black and white color scheme. This gives it a vibe which immediately calls to mind the works of Tim Burton or The Addams Family. What’s more, the bedroom even has a multi-faceted ceiling mirror which should bring all kinds of interesting vibes. The house also includes goodies like a funeral parlor chandelier, a grim reaper sconce, a coffin against the wall, and even the staircase is decked out in a wrought-iron spiderweb. It’s definitely the perfect home for a horror fan to take over – or a resident of The Munsters.
As stated by Billy Nicholson, the house’s owner and seller via Baltimore Sun:
“Everything was off the top of my head. You’re not going to find any place like it,” Nicholson explained. “It’s basically my twisted imagination coming to life.”
It seems the house was once his mother’s, which he inherited and had the inspiration to redecorate in a gothic theme. This theme also extends to the outside of the house, which features an outdoor bar that’s made to look like an actual cemetery. This includes cemetery gates, headstones, and the words “cemetery” and “crypt” on display. Of course, while the house can always be redecorated, it’d be perfect to buy as is for many horror fans. Especially considering the location even comes with a 1972 hearse, and for only $225,000.
