Are they in it or not? That’s the question that many Marvel fans are wondering when it comes to Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield appearing in Spider-Man: No Way Home. While there have been rumors suggesting the involvement of the two former Peter Parker actors, it’s something that’s been denied by current Spider-Man actor Tom Holland. Whether or not we can take his word for it is an entirely different story, though, as in the past, he’s been prone to spoiling MCU films. A recent tweet by Twitter, however, is going to add fuel to those rumors.
what you got for me?

It’s pretty interesting and something that fans will definitely be talking about for sure. The film was referred to simply as Spider-Man 3 but had the title revealed as Spider-Man: No Way Home last week, so it seems as though Sony/Marvel Studios are entering the marketing phase of the film – and this is definitely a way to keep fans talking. As we pointed out earlier in the article, though, Holland has said that appearances from Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield aren’t happening. Just last month the actor was quoted as saying:
“No, no, they will not be appearing in this film. Unless they have hidden the most massive piece of information from me, which I think is too big of a secret for them to keep from me. But as of yet, no. It’ll be a continuation of the Spider-Man movies that we’ve been making.”
As with all things Marvel related, we’ll just have to wait and see what happens. At this point, it would be a surprise if the two actors didn’t appear in the movie. We’ll know for sure when it hits theaters on December 22nd. Until then, all we can do is continue to speculate on just who will show up.
