Actress Gina Carano has had quite an interesting time recently. The actress was recently fired from The Mandalorian, after she had made a variety of controversial posts on social media. As a result, she was even dropped by her talent agency. Although she continued to announce plans for future projects, things have still been tough for Carano. And now it seems that Internet users are further attacking the actress over her past, and even bringing Man of Steel actor Henry Cavill into the mix. Gina Carano previously had a relationship with Henry Cavill, and now fans are using that as a reason to go after Cavill despite not really being involved with any of Carano’s ongoing issues.
It’s a surprising move, and some social media users are taking it to quite a new extreme. For example, they’re even comparing Henry Cavill and Gina Carano to The Boys villains Homelander and Stormfront. The accusations are pretty bold, and fans continue to say the realization that the two celebrities previously dated are outright ruining their days. As you can see in some of the social media posts featured below:

Every time I see Gina Carano news, I can’t help but think, “Henry Cavill bro… what type of shit are you into?”

Meanwhile, other fans are attacking Henry Cavill because he apparently did not make a social media post welcoming Sasha Calle as Supergirl:

It’s definitely an interesting time we’re living in. While social media is a powerful tool, many seem to only be using it as a means to bring “cancel culture” to extraordinary new highs. With that being said, many are still being protective of Henry Cavill and agree it doesn’t make much sense to attack him for such things.

Let’s see…Twitter cancel culture went after Gina Carano and totally misunderstood then lied about her. Now they are going after Henry Cavill? Hey cancel culture… pic.twitter.com/DKHFCtdYRx

While it’s still unclear where exactly Gina Carano’s career is headed after being fired from The Mandalorian, it doesn’t really seem like a rational decision to include Henry Cavill with her actions. Especially considering they stopped dating years before any of these issues came up. But odds are Henry Cavill’s career will continue as is, and fans will be able to see him return in Zack Snyder’s Justice League and The Witcher very soon.
