If you are a horror fan, it might be time to invest in some real estate classes and get your license. After the news broke awhile back that Buffalo Bill’s home from The Silence of the Lambs was up for sale, it looks like yet another homestead of an iconic horror villain has hit the market. This time, it is the childhood home of none other than Michael Myers, seen in Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers. While this is widely considered as one of (if not the) worst film in the franchise, the introduction of Myers’ childhood was vastly important- and now, any fan with enough cash can buy this house for themselves!
@Neamheaglach12 so the Meyers house used in Halloween 5 is up for sale. I mean, if there was ever such a thing as fate… pic.twitter.com/vCwNGZ1M3P

The massive 7,300 square foot, 10 bedroom home is located in salt Lake City, Utah, and is going for the hefty price of $950,000. While the real estate listing makes no mention of its ties to the franchise, this historical Victorian home has been vetted as the house in the film. However, unlike the film, it is actually quite vibrant and colorful, striking a hard juxtaposition to the dark tones of the film. The over 100 year old home sits on a third of an acre, has beautiful stained glass windows, epic fireplaces, and has been both a multi-family and a single family dwelling.
Even if you’re not a fan of the franchise, this home is down right gorgeous and well worth the investment if you can pony up the dough. As a horror fan, this home would have even more sentimental value, being the home of one of Hollywood’s most terrifying serial killers. As Halloween Kills is set to be released in October 2021, this house most likely won’t stay on the market very long. So, why not take a stab at it? (See what I did there? Stab? Like Michael Myers? Aah, puns…)
