Actress Sarah Paulson is a long time collaborator of Ryan Murphy, and both are known for their work on American Horror Story. As such, it comes as no surprise that Sarah Paulson is also involved as an actress in Ryan Murphy’s American Horror Story spin-off, American Crime Story. The new season, which is titled American Crime Story: Impeachment, is a retelling of the real life events circulating past US President Bill Clinton and his sex scandal with Monica Lewinsky. Sarah Paulson will be playing Linda Tripp, a woman who in real life secretly recorded Monica Lewinsky’s phone calls regarding her interactions with Bill Clinton.
As you can see in the below tweet, in which Sarah Paulson shared the first look at the new season of American Crime Story, she looks nearly unrecognizable. With a heavy amount of prosthetics and makeup, Sarah Paulson was able to fully transform into a fictional take on Linda Tripp. It’s no doubt going to be a fascinating portrayal and one that will be a large part of this upcoming season. Sarah Paulson’s tweet also included the following caption:
“Linda. American Crime Story: Impeachment has begun principle photography @MrRPMurphy”

Sarah Paulson has previously spoken about the amount of work she’s put into doing justice to Linda Tripp, and it apparently involved a ton of research. With such attention to detail, it should no doubt make this new season of American Crime Story one to remember. On the plus side, if that isn’t enough, Sarah Paulson will also be returning for next year’s season of American Horror Story, so fans should have plenty to look forward to in the near future between that and American Crime Story. In the meantime, fans can stay tuned to ScreenGeek for any further updates on both American Horror Story and American Crime Story.
