2020 has been one of the worst years in modern human history. This goes without saying. We’re all aware of what’s been going on. Now, as we head towards the end of this year, Hollywood is trying to get themselves back on track, and is beginning to film movies once again. While the entertainment industry has been delayed for what feels like eternity, studios are now getting back to work and are ready to give us our much needed escapism once again. One such studio is Sony Pictures, and, working with Marvel, are revving up to get Spider-Man 3 swinging once again – and it looks like Tom Holland has arrived in Atlanta to begin filming!
The video, which can be seen below, shows us just how pumped the Spider-Man actor is to be there.
“Okay, so we just landed in Atlanta, and it’s time for Spider-Man 3!” Holland said through a red mask. “Let’s go!”
This film is shaping up to be a crazy one, indeed. Rumors of a live action ‘SpiderVerse’ are all over the internet, thanks to the return of Jamie Foxx as Electro and J.K. Simmons returning once again as J. Jonah Jameson. Although the studio has essentially denied the castings of Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire returning as their respective versions of the Wall Crawler, Doctor Strange is set to appear in some capacity, lending more credence to a multiverse story in this film. Whatever is to happen, hopefully we’ll get some insight shortly as filming ramps up – and when it does, we’ll be sure to keep you posted.
Spider-Man 3 is currently set for release on December 17th, 2021.
