It was very devastating for fans when the fourth season of Stranger Things had its production delayed by the Coronavirus pandemic. There were then rumors that production would be restarting around this time, and as it turns out, production for Stranger Things season 4 has indeed started back up. This was confirmed by actress Millie Bobby Brown after she appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and she spoke about the return to Stranger Things for the production of season 4.
As stated by Millie Bobby Brown via The Tonight Show:
“I guess that’s what they’re trying to say! Obviously, I just can’t wait to get back to work. I miss playing Eleven so much. To think, it’s been quite a while since I’ve just been on set with my friends again, and just playing Eleven, she’s always such a challenge to play, and I just miss work, to be honest with you.”
It sounds like Millie Bobby Brown hasn’t quite made it to the set yet, but it looks like she’s preparing for her reappearance as Eleven that should come soon. Hopefully now that production is continuing, we’ll have more information on Stranger Things season 4 soon. Although there have been some interesting leaked photos from the set:
Actor David Harbour will be returning as Hopper for the new season, while the rest of the returning cast includes Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, and Noah Schnapp. We then also have the return of Sadie Sink, Joe Keery, Natalia Dyer, Maya Hawke, Priah Ferguson, Winona Ryder, and Cara Buono.
While the release date for Stranger Things season 4 isn’t confirmed yet, let’s hope that we can expect to see it hit soon. While 2021 would be nice, it could be early 2022 as well. We’ll just have to wait and see. In the meantime, it is reassuring just to know production is underway.
