Fans have been waiting quite awhile for The Haunting of Bly Manor, the followup season to Netflix’s very successful The Haunting of Hill House. Unlike its predecessor, however, this time the story will be an adaptation of Henry James’ story The Turn of the Screw – with elements from many other ghost stories by the same author sprinkled throughout. It’s definitely enough to get many horror fans excited, and now we have our first look at The Haunting of Bly Manor with a variety of new images.
As you can see in the below images from Vanity Fair, we have plenty of returning and completely new cast members. This should make for a nice transition from the first season, as we enter this new story with some fresh faces but also a few familiar ones.

Hopefully we can see a trailer for the new season soon. After all, with it due out later this year and the hype for this year’s Halloween holiday finally picking up steam, it’s the perfect time to release our first look at the show’s footage. Perhaps we can expect it to arrive any day now if these images are any indication.
In the meantime, let’s take some time to appreciate just how well done this series looks to be. It really is a beautiful, gothic looking production – hopefully it manages to live up to the standards established by its predecessor. But I’m willing to bet it will.
Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Victoria Pedretti, Henry Thomas, and Kate Siegel will all return from the first season as new characters. They’ll be joined by several new cast members including Rahul Kohli, T’Nia Miller, and Amelia Eve.
This new season will also share several new directors working alongside season one director Mike Flanagan – Yolanda Ramke & Ben Howling, Ciarán Foy, Liam Gavin, and Axelle Carolyn.
The Haunting of Bly Manor will be available for Netflix subscribers beginning sometime this Fall.
