There’s never a bad time for horror fans to check out another new horror film, and this one looks like a pretty interesting one. The movie is an Australian horror film called The Faceless Man, and as you can see from the footage below, he’s a rather nasty looking character. Nevertheless, the movie has been rather well received thus far. In fact, the movie has already won six major awards. These awards that the film won came from the Melbourne Underground Film Festival, and they include Best Director and Best Film. So it’s definitely one that fans will likely want to keep an eye out for once it’s released later this month.

**OFFICIAL TRAILER** The Faceless Man - Full Length Trailer

In the new horror film titled The Faceless Man…

“Emily is a recovering cancer survivor of three years. Faced with her fear of getting sick again, her best friend Nina plans a weekend away. Six friends venture out to a country holiday house to party over a weekend. Cut off from the rest of the world they soon learn the inhabitants are unsettling red neck individuals who terrorize and humiliate travelers. At the same time a para-normal monster seen as the faceless man haunts the house pushing the friends to their limits.”

With a plot like that, The Faceless Man certainly sounds like an interesting little horror movie. Hopefully the final product lives up to the rather interesting story, and after seeing the trailer, it seems like a safe bet that the film will be enjoyable for a good number of horror fans.

The cast for the film includes Andy McPhee (Wolf Creek: The Series), Roger Ward (Mad Max), Lucas Pittaway (Snowtown), and Sophie Thurling (Counter Play).

Audiences will be able to see The Faceless Man via On Demand later this month when the film is released on August 28, courtesy of Freedom Cinema LLC.
