Many horror fans have been excited ever since the rumors began that the entire Friday the 13th franchise would be collected under one new massive box-set. Now fans no longer have to speculate, as it’s been officially announced by Scream Factory that they’re the ones behind the highly anticipated Friday the 13th Collection – featuring all 12 films in the franchise – and you can already pre-order it on their website!
The Friday the 13th Collection is currently scheduled to be released on October 13, 2020. And it’s definitely one that fans shouldn’t miss out on, considering the massive amount of special features the set contains. In fact, there are even new 4K scans for the first four movies in the franchise. This is a pretty big deal considering there’s only ever been one other complete set with all 12 films, and it wasn’t in print for very long. Now fans can have a new chance to get all 12 movies under one box, and this new Friday the 13th Collection makes the last set absolutely obsolete.

It also comes with a 40-page collectible essay booklet with archival still photography. This is certainly a great way to celebrate the first film’s 40th anniversary this year. Of course, it’d be even better if the lawsuit could come to a conclusion – after all, what else would be better than a boxset if not seeing the franchise continue?
