The Coronavirus pandemic has been a tough and horrible time for all of us around the world. Of course, one of the good things that can be said about this time is that it has forced an additional surge of creativity from some people. One of those people happens to be Rob Sheridan, who has started a line of horror themed face masks appropriately named “Movie Monsters”, and they can now be ordered through Threadless!
The masks are incredibly fun and vivid with their designs. Each one boasts a colorful and clearly loving interpretation of a classic horror icon – the perfect way to show off our love of horror while also promoting safety. As a bonus, and as pointed out by Birth Movies Death, sales from the masks also go to charity.
Each 7.5″ x 4.5″ mask sells for $20 a piece. A portion of each sale is then donated to national non-profit organization MedShare. The charity is known for surplus medical resources from the US and redistributing them to developing countries in need.
As you can see, the masks in “Movies Monsters” Series 1 include a wide range of different monsters and villains to choose from. This includes the Xenomorph from Alien, the titular villain in Predator, the T-800 from Terminator, Jason Voorhees from the Friday the 13th franchise, Chatterer from Hellraiser, Gill-Man from Creature from the Black Lagoon, and even a unique zombie mask.
It’s a cool way to make a difficult time a little more fun, and a portion of the proceeds go to another great cause which is awesome as well. Hopefully horror fans will enjoy being able to choose from some high quality designs and horror themed face masks to make this Coronavirus pandemic a little safer and more fun for all of us enduring it.
Rob Sheridan’s Threadless shop is where you can order the masks.
