The world is going through some things right now, some not so fun things. In fact, the COVID-19 pandemic has all but shut the globe down, leaving just about all of entertainment spiraling into an indefinite delay. Marvel Studios just recently had to reschedule the entirety of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Phase 4 releases dates. But, how will this effect the Disney+ series for the MCU? Well, apparently not really at all. At least not for right now.
Thanks to a Disney+ France presser, we see that all of the MCU shows are still on track for their respective release dates, and we also got release windows for more upcoming series. As it stands, Falcon and the Winter Soldier, WandaVision, Loki and What If…? are all set to launch this year. Hawkeye looks to be coming in 2021, all on its lonesome, with She-Hulk, Ms. Marvel and Moon Knight slated for 2022. Now, many sites are reporting these dates slightly off, with Loki and What If..? coming in 2021, and Hawkeye jumping to 2022, but as you can see from the presser in the link above, that’s not the case.
So, as long as shooting for these series doesn’t get delayed any more than everything already has, it looks like these shows will indeed debut on their current trajectory. 2022 is especially appealing, as it will introduce 3 new characters, and one of them (Moon Knight) is a fan favorite with a massive cult following that people are going to want to see finally done live action style. So, as the world tries to move forward and continue on with life, there is definitely some light at the end of the tunnel and Disney and Marvel are holding the lantern. God speed to everyone, and keep an eye out on the Disney+ streaming service!
