The unfortunate spread of the Coronavirus pandemic has impacted everyone – both large and small. Most people are being told to stay inside and practice social distancing, and it’s a strategy that’s even postponed a wide variety of theatrical releases and film productions from happening for the time being. While we continue to fight against the Coronavirus, and stay inside, horror actor Robert Englund has brightened things up a bit with a fun new PSA. In the video, Robert Englund tells people some of the biggest ways to maintain the spread of the Coronavirus; which includes staying inside, washing your hands, and as he puts it – “wear your glove.”
“This nightmare will end. Take care of yourself,” actor Robert Englund captioned the video – clearly making a reference to his famous role as Freddy Krueger from A Nightmare on Elm Street and its sequels. In fact, the Freddy Krueger references go even further upon watching the full video.

By the time Robert Englund finishes speaking, he’s brought out the iconic Freddy Krueger glove and completely fallen into character as the memorable horror villain. It’s a display of both fun and comfort for horror fans during this difficult time staying inside.
Again as Robert Englund explained in the video, the best ways to fight off the Coronavirus is to simply self quarantine and practice social distancing.
As long as we continue these tactics for the time being, make sure we wash our hands, and wear gloves when the right scenarios call for such protection – then we should be okay. And sooner than later if we follow these guidelines, things should be back to normal. Until then, it’s nice to know that even famous celebrities like Robert Englund are enduring the same situation as we are. And so it’s nice to see that he’s still willing to not only keep his fans informed, but also cheer them up during such a tough time.
