Although it hasn’t been exactly clear what Disney’s upcoming Disney Plus series WandaVision will consist of story wise, it’s still been an incredibly anticipated show for Marvel fans and audiences have been eager to find out what surprises are in store. While we still have awhile to wait before the series actually finally premieres on the streaming platform, it has now been confirmed that production on all six episodes of WandaVision has wrapped.
As you can see below, crew member Taylor Grabowsky posted an image declaring that the series’ production had wrapped and that those involved would be celebrating with a wrap party in Skyline Park Atlanta.
As Grabowsky wrote:
“Guys, I may or may not have gone a little overboard on the photobooth, though how can you not with these #beauts?! Thankful for the BEST crew in the world, and not only were they up to the challenge, every person here helped to make this show beyond special! Love you guys!!”
Of course, there’s still plenty of work to be done in terms of post production – but at least we know WandaVision is on track for its intended release date. Let’s just hope that the mysterious Disney Plus series will manage to live up to the expectations from Marvel fans. Other than that, however, it seems like shooting the series went particularly well for the cast and crew – and that’s always a good sign.
Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany will star as series leads Wanda Maximoff and Vision. Jac Schaeffer, known for having written Black Widow, wrote the series and will also act as WandaVision’s showrunner. Matt Shakman directed the series.
The cast also includes Kat Dennings as Darcy Lewis, Teyonah Parris as grown-up Monica Rambeau, Randall Park as Agent Jimmy Woo and Kathryn Hahn in an unknown role.
WandaVision is expected to hit Disney Plus in December 2020.
