One of the most interesting aspects about the ghost hunting subgenre that airs on television is how there never seems to be black or white evidence regarding the existence of the supernatural. Now in a new press release for the upcoming second season of A&E’s Ghost Hunters television series, it appears that there will in fact be some kind of “indisputable” evidence on the Ghost Hunters series that the supernatural really does exist. While that does seem like a pretty massive claim to make, it still sounds incredibly interesting to see what exactly it is they’re referring to.
Here’s the official press release, which mentions the “persuasive evidence” we can expect to see in the all new second season of the Ghost Hunters television series:
“Ghost Hunters returns with indisputable evidence of life after death. In Season Two, the team heads into uncharted territory to be the first to investigate reports of paranormal phenomena in some of the nation’s most remote locations. Their journey takes them to isolated, distant corners of the United States where they confront extreme conditions and desolate terrain. The team seeks out forgotten worlds where darkness and death plague residents who have been forced to live with the unknown. Despite mysterious and unnerving warnings from locals, the Ghost Hunters face their fears and stay on mission: to help people confront terrifying paranormal encounters that have shaken them to their core. In doing so, they capture their most compelling, persuasive evidence in over a decade.”
Now you can see the trailer for the upcoming season below:
The original incarnation of Ghost Hunters lasted for eleven seasons following its original premiere on the Syfy channel in 2004. The series remained incredibly popular up until its end in 2016, which ultimately led to a revival season on A&E which was released in early 2019.
Now that we’re getting a second revival season of the classic ghost hunting show, it’ll be interesting to see what kind of evidence they’ve acquired to further cement the series’ reputation. What exactly their evidence will consist of, however, remains to be seen. But hopefully we find out soon.
Ghost Hunters returns for its new second season on A&E beginning April 8th at 8 p.m. ET.
