The Marvel Cinematic Universe is expanding into the realm of streaming with several shows that will be appearing on Disney+, and with direct ties to the MCU. WandaVision, Loki, the falsely rumored to be delayed Hawkeye and more will immediately interact and effect the Phase 4 films. Another show that will have ties, and will be the first one released on the service, is The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. This buddy cop style series brings frienemies Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes together to deal with the post Endgame future, and one without Captain America. We already know that U.S. Agent will have a big part, as will returning villain, Baron Zemo. But, not it would seem that another surprise villain is coming to the series.
ComicBook is reporting that the photographer, Atlanta Filming, in a now deleted post, has offered up a bit of interesting news in terms of the series. It mentions Ghost, from the Ant-Man sequel, but the real news comes from a surprising character that even the photographer had to look up! This villain is apparently obscure but shocking, and should really blow fans’ minds. Ghost being a possibility is interesting as well. After the sequel, it seemed that Ghost had reformed and was working on the side of good. Add to that that actress Hannah John-Kamen has said that Ghost isn’t dead, we were bound to see her again at some point. But who is this mystery character?

Now, the post gave no clue as to who it could be. Also, it never actually named The Falcon and the Winter Soldier explicitly, but as it is the only Marvel production filming in Atlanta currently, it seems like a safe bet. Also, we’re really speculating on the ‘villain’ aspect here as well. It is assumed to be a bad guy, as the photographer uses his scoop on Crossbones in Civil War as the measuring stick for this level of scoop, but he never quantifies that this mystery person in friend or foe. So, this one is wide open, but hopefully we’ll see some more information soon, whether it’s official or another leak.
