Star Wars fans who don’t have a subscription to Disney Plus need to get one. Sure, most of the films are on there. But there’s this great show called The Mandalorian. In case you have been living under a rock, it follows a member of the race that Boba Fett belongs to. The title character is played by Pedro Pascal. And spoiler alert for those who haven’t watched it yet, but while on a mission for his latest bounty, he discovers a member of Yoda’s race. Without much information on this bounty at the beginning of the first episode, he’s told that the person in around fifty years old. Come to find out, different races age differently. Collider listed the details of episodes four, five, and six of The Mandalorian. Included in the details are the synopses, released dates, and directors.
Chapter 4 will release will be available to stream on November 29th. Ron Howard directed Solo: A Star Wars Story. And his daughter, Bryce Dallas Howard, will direct this episode. The synopsis is as follows:
“The Mandalorian teams up with an ex-soldier to protect a village from raiders.”
Gina Carano from Deadpool and Fast and Furious 6 has been listed as a series regular. Her character will debut in this episode. By the looks of the photo for the episode, Carano will be this “ex-soldier.” IMDB calls her character, Cara Dune.
Chapter 5 is scheduled for December 6th. The director will be Dave Filoni. He is also an executive producer for the show. And he is known for the showrunner of Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels. The synopsis reads:
“The Mandalorian helps a rookie bounty hunter who is in over his head.”
Chapter 6 will premiere on December 13th. Rick Famuyiwa will direct. Famuyiwa directed The Wood from 1999, which starred Omar Epps. His follow-up was Brown Sugar in 2002, which co-starred Taye Diggs and Queen Latifah. He will write and direct an adaptation of the graphic novel, Black Hole, from Charles Burns and Kitchen Sink Press. Then, he will team-up with The Russo Brothers and Keanu Reeves on Past Midnight. The synopsis for Chapter 6 of The Mandalorian says,
“The Mandalorian joins a crew of mercenaries on a dangerous mission.”
As this arc continues across the Disney Plus original, it’s beginning to look like one thing is clear. “Mando” must protect “The Child” at all costs. The Child, of course, is what people are calling “Baby Yoda.” Though George Lucas refused to name the species, fans have dubbed them Tridactyls. Also, be on the lookout for Ming-Na Wen from Agents of SHIELD. She is also said to be a series regular.
