One of the most anticipated horror films coming next year is Halloween Kills, and it’s recently wrapped filming! While we wait to see more of the new slasher film featuring killer Michael Myers, actress Jamie Lee Curtis has opened up about her costar Kyle Richards. In fact, she’s praised Kyle Richards’ performance in the film.
Here’s what Jamie Lee Curtis said specifically while speaking with US:
“She is so great that it’s going to be so fun for her audience — who is now used to knowing her for her TV show. They are going to be so happy to see her be an actress again, and she is absolutely fantastic.”
She adds: “[She’s] so beautiful that, she gets very decomposed. Not … you know what I mean. Like, distressed in this movie, in every way. Emotionally, physically, environmentally, and she just completely left that other life and came and shot for four weeks and was amazing. People are going to be bonkers about her.”
Kyle Richards last played the character Lindsey Wallace in the original Halloween as a child in 1978, so it’s exciting getting to see her come back to the role all these decades later. And based on what Jamie Lee Curtis had to say about Kyle Richards in Halloween Kills, she’ll be bringing an amazing performance to the new movie.
Hopefully soon we’ll get to learn even more about the new movie. While we may already have an idea about how Michael Myers escapes his fate at the end of the 2018 Halloween, there’s still much more to figure out about the plot. However we do know that Jamie Lee Curtis will once again go up against Michael Myers, alongside other survivors dealing with trauma like Anthony Michael Hall as Tommy Doyle and Kyle Richards’ Lindsey Wallace.
Halloween Kills will be hitting theaters on October 16, 2020.
