Actor Jared Padalecki is one of the most popular actors on television right now thanks to his leading role on The CW’s Supernatural. The actor has also seen a few film appearances, including a role in the 2009 Friday the 13th remake. His work has made him a popular piece in the entertainment industry. Unfortunately it looks like he’s now had his first major mishap – Padalecki has now been arrested.
According to TMZ, the actor was arrested outside of a club named Stereotype in Austin, Texas. Jared Padalecki apparently faces two counts of assault and one count of public intoxication.
The eyewitness reports state that Padalecki “struck a bartender in the face” while he was inside the establishment. He then potentially hit the bar’s general manager after the two broke into an argument. One of his friends attempted taking Padalecki outside, but the actor ultimately put him in a headlock before police finally arrived to the scene.
There are several videos taken of the scene, including one instance where Padalecki “flashed” a wad of cash to the policemen before they attempted their arrest on him.
As a result of his three charges, his bond is placed at a total of $15,000, otherwise $5,000 per charge. His representative has yet to comment and it’s unknown whether or not the bail has been posted.
It will be especially interesting seeing how this incident will impact the rest of Supernatural’s 15th season. The season will be the last of the series, and seeing how Jared Padalecki was such a major part of the show, it will be strange watching him and knowing of his arrest which happened at the same time this new season is airing.
