The series will follow Renner’s Hawkeye as he battles alongside Kate Bishop, a character that actually becomes Hawkeye in the comics. In an attempt to explain the setup, Renner joked, “I get to teach someone else how to be a superhero without superpowers.”
It’s definitely an interesting premise getting to see a series not just about a hero without superpowers, but the fact he has to train someone else to be the same way that makes it really neat. Hopefully the series will live up to expectations and produce a great storyline for the Hawkeye character(s) to flourish in.
Hawkeye will debut on Disney+ in the Fall of 2021.
