It’s going to be a very busy weekend for the world of Geekdom. San Diego Comi-Con is in full swing, and it’s nearly impossible to keep up with all the great information, snippets, insights, and previews that come along with it. One thing that sometimes gets lost in the shuffle of mega movie and comic news are all the new toys shown at the convention. Marvel Legends always has a big presence, and this year is no different. In fact, one of the most beloved characters from Avengers: Endgame in Fat Thor getting his own Legends figure, and we couldn’t be happier about it.
Fat Thor, officially named ‘Bro Thor’ by Marvel, has his very own action figure! ToyArk is reporting that The Big Thorbowski comes with Stormbreaker and two interchangeable heads. One with shades and one without. Dressed in his ratty robe, sweatpants, and hoodie, the detail is something to behold, indeed. This series also features Valkyrie, Renegade Heimdall, Iron Patriot from Iron Man 3, Endgame Iron Man (including an Iron Gauntlet), Civil War Vision and Captain America. Buy this set, and the Build-A-Figure is Fat Thor! How great is that?!

This version of Thor was one of the most complex and fleshed out characters we saw in Endgame, which is definitely saying something, considering how each character had incredible arcs that really played out well throughout the film. And, unlike many of the other OG Avengers, Thor’s story isn’t over, as we now know that Thor 4 is officially on its way. So, we will get to see how Thor grows from all of this, and whether or not we will continue to get Fat Thor or be back to Fit Thor. Either way, we’re in for a treat whenever this film hits theaters.
Thanks to SDCC, we now know we can get a Fat Thor for our own home, and that is definitely not a bad thing.
