Marvel is planning on having a big presence at this year’s Sand Diego Comic-Con. Fresh off the heels of one of the biggest movies of all time, and the culmination of over a decade of interwoven storytelling, Kevin Feige and crew is ready to reveal some of what is to come in the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. We should at least get some information on what movies to expect in the near future, as well as some story ideas, however brief they may be. But, with Black Widow already in production, and we could possibly get our first look at some footage at Hall H.
According to a report from Variety we may see some footage, or even a teaser trailer, for Black Widow. The movie is shooting now, and we’ve already gotten a few BTS pics leaked online, including a look at the film’s villain. Now, a VFX rush job for the sake of the convention could be rather expensive, but showing some footage that doesn’t require much effects wouldn’t be out of the question. Marvel has done it before, after all.
Whatever is to come, we’re just going to have to wait until SDCC to find out for sure. If Marvel is known for one thing, it’s their secrecy and deception when it comes to their information. What we do know is that whatever comes from this panel, fans are going to lose their minds. Marvel has truly built one of, if not THE, greatest film studios of all time, and they only continue to get better.
