Avengers: Endgame has started it’s re-release this past weekend to give fans a little extra as well as try to take the number one all time box office spot. They added a much missed Stan ‘The Man’ Lee tribute, a sneak peek of Spider-Man: Far From Home, and a deleted scene for a character that many fans felt was underutilized in the 3 hour epic. That character is the Hulk. Having finally come to terms with his ‘condition’, he has moved to embrace the Green Goliath side, rather than control/cure it. So, the Marvel Cinematic Universe got their version of Professor Hulk. His introduction came in a funny cafe scene, but what if we saw him in action instead? That’s what the deleted scene was all about.
Apparently, though, some people weren’t very fond of the scene.
Some ‘fans’ on Twitter have attacked the scene. It should be noted that the CGI was unfinished, as the scene was cut before final rendering. The Hulk jumps into action when people are trapped atop a burning building. People are complaining about how it looks, and that they sat through 3 hours for ‘nothing’.

you’re telling me,,, that the extra scene they added to endgame was,, an UNFINISHED clip of the hulk saving a couple people??? then answering a phone call?? which doesn’t even make any sense???

Endgame’s two post credit scenes were so bad holy shit

I can safely say the Endgame bonus footage was the most boring content. I could tell the Stan Lee tribute was directly ported from a disc due to the aspect ratio, the deleted scene was… what it was. And the “post credits scene” was stuff we’ve all seen in trailers.

Bonus scenes in endgame were trash @MarvelStudios

Wait but why did the endgame post credits scene even exist? I mean yeah it’s cool and all and I know ya’ll are working on Spiderman, but like I didnt want to see a half finished cgi sequence of Hulk saving some kids…. At least we got this new meme pic.twitter.com/6Fiv0e6CV5

i ain’t mad at how terrible hulk looks like in the bonus scene because it’s just an unfinished cgi, but i’ll be forever mad remembering endgame have 900 hours scenes & stuff but they decided to show us THAT hulk scene

Come on, people! First off, Avengers: Endgame is an amazing film, well worth multiple viewings in theaters. And, whilst the Hulk’s CGI isn’t great, it is awesome to see that he was still in action as a hero during the 5 years after the snap. Oh, and did I mention the fact that the Fire Chief in the scene is played by Reginald Freakin’ VelJohnson! None other than Sgt. Al Powell from Die Hard?! That, in and of itself, is worth the price of admission! Why are people complaining?!
It should be noted that all these Twitter accounts have little to no followers. It seems like just a bunch of disgruntled ‘fans’ with no friends looking to bitch about anything. And, many of them didn’t even bother going to see the film again, but rather saw a screenshot from the scene and made assumptions. Look, if you felt the extra stuff was a waste of time, fine. That’s your opinion and you are entitled to it. But, don’t attack Marvel or try and stop people from seeing it just because YOU didn’t like it.
