Rob Zombie has been keeping fans on the edge of their seats when it comes to his upcoming feature 3 From Hell. Although filming wrapped a while ago we have only just got a trailer, and even that hasn’t given much away at all. Yesterday, Zombie has finally revealed a little more information on his Facebook, including a confirmation of when we can expect to see the movie in theatres.
In a Facebook post Zombie confirmed that the movie will be screening in theatres in September just as he had hinted before, but we still don’t have an exact release date for the picture. He also confirmed that a longer trailer will be released in July, following the hyped up teaser trailer that has just been released. Some fans were disappointed with the 50 second teaser, which was released following a 6 day countdown on Zombie’s social media, and consisted largely of clips from House of 1000 Corpses and The Devil’s Rejects.
3 From Hell is the threequel to House of 1000 Corpses and The Devil’s Rejects and the director has also confirmed that the upcoming story will take place immediately after the last instalment, The Devil’s Rejects. He also confirmed that Spaulding is indeed in the movie but in response to how they survive the bloody shootout at the end of Rejects, he wrote “well, you have to see the film for that answer.” You didn’t expect him to give it all away, did you?

3 From Hell is rated R for “strong sadistic violence, language throughout, sexual content, graphic nudity, and drug use” and features Sheri Moon Zombie, Bill Moseley and Sid Haig returning to their roles. Lets hope the next trailer coming in July gives a little more information about what we can expect from the feature, and pleases fans a little more than the last one.
How do you think the trio survive? Let us know in the comments!
