Avengers: Endgame has been out for two weeks and the news of the film, behind the scenes, and what’s in store for the future of the MCU is still coming along in a rapid pace. Many characters died during in Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame while some made a surprise appearance through the latter’s plot device. One of those dead characters could be popping up again in other future MCU projects as said by one of the Russo Brothers.
SPOILERS FOR INFINITY WAR AND ENDGAME!
Loki was one of the first causalities at the beginning of Avengers: Infinity War and the shock sent fans into a tailspin of grief and theories rejecting the lord of mischief’s death. Last year, actor Tom Hiddleston went to twitter to let his LokiLovers (patent pending) know that more was in store for his character.

Fans will rejoice again because one half of the Avengers: Endgame directing team, the Russo brothers, has confirmed that Loki will see the sun rise on another day but in a different timeline.
While speaking to the LA Times, Anthony Russo had this to say on the possibility of Loki showing up somewhere in a Marvel show or movie:
“Loki could absolutely still be alive in an alternate timeline.”
For those that haven’t seen Endgame, the plot involving time travel, took a romp down memory lane by revisiting the events of the first Avengers film. After the defeat of Loki and his army, a series of smaller events involving a current Tony Stark and Ant-Man allowed Loki to escape using the Tesseract.
If the HUGE clue of Hiddleston’s character’s return wasn’t obvious with the announcement of a Disney+ show, then this one should cement the idea.
The Hollywood Reporter caught the scoop on what the Loki show will most likely be about since writer of Rick and Morty, Michael Waldron, was announced as the creator of the show. The show is set to “follow Loki as the trickster and shapeshifter pops up throughout human history as [an] unlikely influencer on historical events.”
