Avengers: Endgame has been in theaters for a week now, and while some are still avoiding spoilers, pretty much everyone has already gone and seen the movie. If you don’t see it opening weekend, it’s nearly impossible to not see spoilers on social media, so that’s part of the advantage of seeing it early. That, and you know, getting to see the movie.
The Russo Brothers, directors of the big MCU epic, have taken to Twitter to reveal when the spoiler ban lifts, and it might be sooner than you think.
The directors said on Twitter:
If you haven’t seen Endgame yet, see it this weekend. The spoiler ban lifts on Monday!
Interesting. Some would say that it should be when the film hits home video release, but then again, with a movie of this magnitude, people shouldn’t have to wait months to simply talk about it. If you haven’t seen it after 2 weeks and you’re on social media, you’re just asking for spoilers. Especially by going into comment sections.
If you have seen the movie, you know that after the first 15 minutes, it’s impossible not to spoil the film. Everything is a spoiler. So if you haven’t seen it, go see it now and you can avoid the problem of spoilers. And I mean, you’re missing out on a great cinematic experience. The film definitely needs to be seen in the theater.
Avengers: Endgame is (obviously) playing in theaters everywhere now.
What do you think of the spoiler ban being lifted? Do you think this is a good time frame? Be sure to tell us all of your thoughts in the comments down below!
