Avengers: Endgame comes out one month from now, and while many fans are expecting an emotional movie – are they expecting a super long one? If not, they should be. We can’t wrap up over 10 years of storytelling in one quick movie, can we?
Well, according to a listing on AMC’s website (that was taken down) the film is just over 3 hours long!
Hey #FilmTwitter with #AvengersEndgame all but confirmed to be just over 3 hours. What is the longest film you have seen on the big screen? pic.twitter.com/IN9u3ZItop

When speaking about the runtime back in February, Anthony Russo said that test audiences have been reacting positively:
“We have screened the movie four times for audiences now … For the first three screenings, not a single person got up to go to the bathroom.”
As far as the runtime goes – I’m sure most fans won’t view it as too long, as there are some who are probably saying it’s too short. Hell, make the movie 10 hours long. Seriously though, as the test screenings suggest – the long runtime doesn’t affect the quality of the film.
As Kevin Feige put it:
“…we don’t look at run times in terms of mandates, or anything like that. Every movie should feel like it’s an hour and 45 minutes. Now, some movies can be 90 minutes and feel like they’re four hours. And some movies can be three and a half hours and feel like 90 minutes. So for us, that’s what it … It’s, “how does it feel?”
In the Marvel Cinematic Universe finale:
Adrift in space with no food or water, Tony Stark sends a message to Pepper Potts as his oxygen supply starts to dwindle. Meanwhile, the remaining Avengers — Thor, Black Widow, Captain America and Bruce Banner — must figure out a way to bring back their vanquished allies for an epic showdown with Thanos — the evil demigod who decimated the planet and the universe.
The film stars Robert Downey Jr., Josh Brolin, Mark Ruffalo, Tom Hiddleston, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Olsen, Chadwick Boseman, Sebastian Stan, Benedict Cumberbatch, Paul Bettany, Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders, Benedict Wong, Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan, Vin Diesel, Dave Bautista, Pom Klementieff, Scarlett Johansson, Tom Holland and Anthony Mackie. The film is directed by Joe and Anthony Russo.
Avengers: Endgame hits theaters everywhere on April 26th.
