Today has been a busy day indeed for MCU fans as Avengers: Endgame’s new trailer arrived. This trailer not only gave us an official look at the new suits but also intrigued theorists. These suits will likely be seen in the movie when the team go to confront Thanos. However, Fans were quick to notice that these suits have outstanding similarities to the suits worn by the heroes in a popular Marvel Animated Series.
This series is in fact “The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes” and there’s one-episode theorists are looking at in particular. The Comic Book writer, Christopher Yost, immediately took to Twitter claiming that the Avengers have previously worn very similar suits in the episode “The Kang Dynasty”.

In the episode, the character Kang the Conqueror attacks earth. The Avengers struggle against him. Despite this, Iron man manages to find the location of Kang’s ship in space. The Avengers, Earth’s mightiest heroes, then go to confront the villain with the help of Ultron Robots.
This storyline seems to have many similarities as well as the suits. Kang could easily be Thanos as he is currently waiting in space for The Avengers to come and find him.
But of course, it is easy to see Yost’s point as the new suits have the same colour scheme to the ones in the new trailer. This includes the red and white colours with the futuristic style to them.
The line-up of heroes wearing these suits is also oddly similar. Both have Captain America, Thor, Hawkeye and Ant-man. But others have noticed that the MCU version has added in a couple more of the famous faces. It’s common knowledge that the MCU like to pick elements from the comics and other marvel additions into their films. So, it’s not unlikely that this was the intended reason as to why there are so many similarities.
Thanos has ultimately left the world in ruin after the events of Avengers: Infinity War. Endgame will surely be the time to see the Avengers assemble once again, even if it may be the last. There may be consequences, but they must undo what Thanos has done.
The new look will be seen further when Avengers: Endgame hits cinemas on April 26th.
