With the Disney/Fox merger all but a done deal, many of Fox’s Marvel properties are up in the air, but none moreso that the highly successful R rated films of Deadpool. The Merc with a Mouth’s crude, raunchy and profanity riddled films don’t exactly fall within the wholesome Disney model, regardless of how much fans love it. They’re even trying a PG 13 version of Deadpool 2 this Christmas called, Once Upon a Deadpool. But, along with a slightly tamer version of the character, they also want to avoid as much outside controversy as possible. With that in mind, there’s one actor who will not be returning for any future films, like the possible X-Force and Deadpool 3.
T.J. Miller confirmed on Twitter that he will not be returning to the character, Weasel, if there is a third Deadpool film. Miller has been embroiled in controversy over the last year or so, being accused of sexually assaulting someone in college as well as calling in a fake bomb threat on a train he was on. Needless to say, no film company wants to deal with a potential menace like this. Daniel RPK posted the Twitter exchange where Miller responded to whether he is in the third installment or not (in a kinda childish manner, if I do say so myself).

The actor tweeted this:
@movieweb @BlastingNews @screenrant @HorrorCultFilms @GotThisCovered I just wanted @DanielRPK to stop adding me to a DM chain so I told him I won’t be in deadpool 3- he was spamming me. There is no Deadpool 3 yet. I was never supposed to be in x force. Stop reporting fake things?

Guys. There are no plans yet for a deadpool 3. I’m contracted to do a third, but saying I’m not going to be in something that has yet to exist is like saying “t.j. confirmed he will not be reincarnated into an elephant.”

As much as this Deadpool‘s future is still very much up in the air with the merger, if it is to continue on, it will definitely be without Miller. His problematic attitude and actions definitely have him derailing his own career. Hopefully, he can get himself some help, get back on track, and possibly salvage some of his career.
