While many fans are still grieving the loss of Stan Lee, one big question still remains for Marvel fans – and that’s when we’ll be getting the Avengers 4 trailer. No one really knows at this point, but it’s been speculated for this month – and now, it’s being speculated for this month yet again.
Well the Infinity War trailer hit early (it was originally Dec 4, released on Nov 29 instead). So anything is possible.
But it’s very soon either way. https://t.co/0YAYjIjXwd

It’s good to hear, but still not a confirmation. While Kevin Feige said that a trailer will come this year, the Russo Brothers recently said that it might not be released until 2019.
“When can we expect to see the Avengers 4 trailer? You may or may not see it before the calendar turns to 2019. We are about halfway through the editing process. We’re really just scratching the surface on all of our VFX shots. There are more than 3000 VFX shots in the movie. Those require a lot of time and thought and energy and effort. We’re very early in that phase of getting VFX done. We just started work with Alan Silvestri on the score. And we’re still editing picture at this point.”
I was actually in the camp of people who suggested that Marvel shouldn’t release any footage at all, and just let fans wait to see what happens when they’re sitting in the theater at some point next year. Obviously that’s not going to happen, but you know fans would still go see a Marvel Cinematic Universe movie of this magnitude – even if it had no footage or marketing released. Everyone knows it’s coming.
Everyone also knows that it’ll be a definitive ending for this current arc of storytelling, as Kevin Feige has said:
“We wanted to do it this way because we think that the best stories have a definitive ending to a storyline. That’s certainly what’s going to happen next year with Avengers 4.”
Avengers 4 hits theaters everywhere May 2019.
