Rambo V: Last Blood is officially filming, and while we were given a first look teaser picture of Sylvester Stallone last month, we now have the first official picture shared from the studio – and it’s about what you’d probably expect it to be. Speaking of things that are about what you’d expect them to be, how about that title? It’s so cheesy – yet so perfect.

Last Blood is the perfect subtitle to cap off the franchise.

And in another bit of information that is about what you’d expect it to be – we have the film’s synopsis:
Rambo teams up with a journalist to track down and rescue a group of local girls that have been kidnapped by a Mexican sex trafficking ring, after trying to settle down to a quiet peaceful life stateside at the family ranch in Arizona after spending decades abroad.
Will it actually be Rambo’s last outing? Who knows, at this point. Stallone has shown no signs of slowing down, and for all we know, we could end up getting Rambo movies when the actor is in his 90’s. Same goes for Rocky movies.
Rambo V: Last Blood is scheduled for release at some point in 2019.
