The festive legend of Krampus is that of a half-goat demon that punishes children at Christmas, in contrast to Santa Claus rewarding them with gifts. We have seen the creature terrorizing children on the small screen many times before, but this Christmas another Krampus installment is coming in the form of a prequel movie. Robert Conway, who is no stranger to the franchise, has penned the project. Watch the creepy trailer for Krampus Origins below:

In Krampus Origins….
The first World War rages on when a group of American soldiers find a mysterious artifact that can summon the ancient evil of the Krampus. After the men are killed in action, the artifact is sent to the commanding officer’s widow who is a teacher at a small-town orphanage. The orphans accidentally summon the Krampus and the teacher, and her pupils are forced to battle this ancient evil.
